Saudi International School for the Sciences and Arts (SISSA) offers an enriched US curriculum from KG1 to Grade 11. Curriculum expectations include:
- Full compliance with the Ministry of Education (MoE) requirements for National Identity subjects that include Islamic Education, Arabic Language and Social Studies
- Curriculum expectations for other subjects will be aligned to the California State Standards, incorporating Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English and math and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for science.
- High quality and various extracurricular activities across all grade levels including KG students to support student interests and provide opportunities for individual growth and leadership.
SISSA carries out regular assessments using American Standardized tests, including the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test. This ensures that high standards of education are consistently maintained, and students are able to achieve competent results aligned to the standards.
